Friday Jan 26 2007 London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra
"To the LPSO, skiffle means "anything goes", as long as it is musical, entertaining and fun. Our performances are energetic, colourful, bizarre, tuneful, virtuoso and hilarious, incorporating a wealth of instruments, costume changes and numerous props. And we are full of surprises ... "

Friday Nov 24 2006 Chris Moreton
Widely recognised as one of the U.K.'s leading exponents of the flatpicked guitar technique, (Britain's answer to Doc Watson" - Jim Couza), this and his talent to entertain has endeared Chris to Folk audiences for many years.
Material includes self-written, Irish, British and American folk, Appalachian and Bluegrass songs; with tunes as diverse as his unique guitar arrangement of "The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" to "Orange Blossom Special" to "Planxty Erwin", with maybe, the odd 60s pop song thrown in for good measure. Also included are arrangements on Mandolin and Five String Banjo.

Friday Oct 27 2006 Taylor'd Country
Taylor'd Country was formed in 2003. Made up of musicians from a 20 mile radius of Stony Stratford, the band emerged from a one-night special in the local music festival, "Stony Live". Everybody had been working so hard to get 24 songs rehearsed that they felt one show wasn't enough. Since then they've been playing in many different venues as "Taylor'd Country" adding to the set list all the time.

Friday Apr 28 2006 Vin Garbutt
"Vin Garbutt's zany humour can sometimes obscure the seriousness of his songs. he has covered every corner of the U.K. - and much of the rest of the world - presentng his unique mixture of folk songs, repartee and pleasing musicianship. He is admired as a generous live performer who presents a thoughtful and provocative message in his songs."
Definitely one of the most sough after performers on the folk scene.

Friday Mar 31 2006 Claude Bourbon
Cancelled gig
A virtuoso guitarist, Claude Bourbon is here and now and his music has evolved over the years and will continue to do so. His roots were in the Blues but that is like saying Leonardo de Vinci was a painter. Claude is inspired by music from around the world including Spanish Middle Eastern, Russian and Europe. He takes these sounds and weaves them into songs and melodies that may be Blues but can be ballads, rock, jazz or pieces that cannot be labelled.
Plus Support.
